On taking occupation a resident must be at least 65 years of age, the spouse/partner may be younger. It is important that new residents be able to live in their cottage or apartment independently and be able to benefit from the lifestyle offered by the village.

Based on past experience, the Trustees have taken the decision that any person wishing to accept the offer of a Life Right and who is 80 years of age and older will be interviewed by an independent social worker to assess their ability to live independently.

The offer of a life right is conditional upon Woodside Village becoming the prime residential address of a prospective occupant/(s).
